Wind Turbine Tray Cable (WTTC)
WTTC cable is designed to withstand extreme, harsh conditions in wind applications like oil, abraison, extreme temperatures, water, constant movement, and more. These cables are rated to 1000V and are designed with high performance jacketing and insulation mateirals that provide protection from sunlight and oil.
Instrumentation Tray Cable (ITC)/ Direct Burial Cable
The most common type of Power Limited Tray Cable (PLTC) that is specified for use in industrial settings is type ITC. These cables are rated to the UL2250 standard and for 300V applications like instrumentation and control circuits, as signal cables. Many ITC and PLTC cables are interchangable today due to their dual-ratings and identical materials and construction.
