SXL Automotive Wire
SXL wire has the thickest XLPE insulation of the primary automotive wire types, and can therefore withstand heat for a long duration of time without melting or fusing. Due to this, SXL wire tends to be found in engine compartments and other high-temperature application areas. It is rated to meet Ford ESB-M1L85-B, Chrysler MS-8900, and SAE J-1128 specifications.
